Abstract

The important task of nurturing core human values in healthcare can be assisted andfacilitated by the use of a variety of technology, to create, store, and disseminate arange of narratives in health and illness, from text and video to immersive experiencesusing virtual reality. This paper will discuss the importance of narratives to nurture corehuman values, the use of technology for narrative to nurture core human values, as wellas the challenge of using technology for narrative to nurture core human values.
