Abstract
This chapter explores the pedagogies,
practices and philosophies of a vocal
studies teacher within a UK conservatoire.
Through the use of observations and
interviews, a case study was created
surrounding this individual educator's
unique practices, to add to a volume which
is focused on the stories of a range of
music teachers.
