Abstract
At a recent conference in Rotherham in February a discussion into all that DSNs want and need to achieve found that leadership is the key to unlocking the potential of the DSN and securing their role in the modern NHS. The summary of the discussion is presented below and is intended to contribute to the ongoing debate into diabetes nursing initiated by Sue Roberts and Anne Scott.
