    Abstract

This presentation describes the From Where You Are Project by Small Things Dance Collective, at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, UK. Small Things have evolved this project over seven years in collaboration with Alder Hey Arts, Hospital Play Specialists and the Research Department. This presentation will focus on the last two years where we have developed interactive performance, research utilising a mixed methodology of both quantitative and qualitative approaches, CPD and an apprenticeship programme as well as continuing to evolve our practice across hospital wards. This talk includes a recent documentary commissioned by the hospital offering multiple viewpoints of this work including clinical practitioners and parents of patients.
