Abstract
The year 2017 saw the crises in NHS Ambulance Services getting worse. Across the board, trusts are seeing a massive increase in demand while simultaneously facing dire shortages in funding and resources. This article addresses the ‘elephants in the room’ and examines how ambulance leadership needs to be reformed in order to ensure the future of our services.
