Abstract
This chapter discusses your positionality as a mentor and how this may impact your own practice in terms of your approach to RE, your pedagogical and subject knowledge choices and your delivery of moral issues. You will be encouraged to consider how you can in turn support your beginning religious education teacher in increasing an awareness of their starting point so that they may become reflexive in their practice.
