Abstract
'Tales from the dark interior' sets 3 existential texts by the acclaimed Scottish author James Kelman to be performed by a narrator against a live electronic soundscape. The multi-channel (8) electronic soundscape makes use of a number of programming techniques (granular and aleatoric) that ensure a formal mobility on repeated live performances both for the electronic sound performer and narrator, whose voice is also transformed by real-time DSP.
