This book considers how early years settings can address aspects of LGBTQ+ inclusion. It focuses specifically on the role of early years practitioners in challenging gender stereotypes and in supporting children to understand different types of relationships. The challenges of addressing this strand of inclusion in the early years are addressed and some ways of responding to these challenges are considered.
