This book outlines an institutional approach to LGBTQ+ inclusion. It emphasises the need for initial teacher education providers to proactively educate student teachers about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences and explores ways of integrating these through teacher education courses. It outlines strategies for working with student teachers and other organisations to support LGBTQ+ inclusion, as well as approaches for addressing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying.
