Abstract
The article discusses the role that nursing faculty have in conveying the importance of nursing research to nursing students. Nurse lecturers face several barriers to teaching nursing research skills in the classroom setting including limited access to online research and negative attitudes surrounding the perceived applicability of nursing research to clinical practice.
