Abstract
By the end of this chapter you should be able to: • appreciate the complexity of contemporary youth justice practice; • examine how children’s participation in systems and processes can be recognised and promoted as a legitimate and desirable objective of intervention; • utilise creative interventions to address the complex needs of children in conflict with the law and the youth justice system.
