Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This chapter explores the critical reception of this controversial film in Britain, from London cinema's in the 1950s, to video, to broadcast and DVD. It argues that a film such as this should not be banned lest we fail to learn about American cinema's long history of racism.
