Abstract

This case study summarises a student-centred, staff-facing initiative where continuous dialogic formative feedback was used as a real-time evaluative tool by both tutors and students. In addition to increased student motivation, engagement and attainment, the intervention brought to the fore a series of unanticipated consequences.
