Abstract
In this short story, set in a Self Storage facility, Schofield explores notions of temporality, memory and consumerism. And what the things we gather and save may signify about the human condition. This intertextual piece draws together a variety of modes to explore this topic, including inventoryie, the menacing voice of a self-storage sales pitch and lyrics from the 1844 harvest festival hymn, 'Come, Ye Thankful People, Come'.
