Abstract

Christopher Shiels and Brenda Roe report on a survey into prevalence and care of pressure sores among older people living in residential care and nursing homes in Liverpool. Setting up appropriate information systems and auditing available pressure-relieving equipment are just two of a number of important recommendations arising from the survey.
