Abstract

This article reports results of a survey, performed both in secondary and in primary care centres, which sought the views of people with established type 2 diabetes on their experiences of education in the past, and the education they would like to receive in the future. As a result of the survey, the authors have developed a care pathway to ensure the delivery of a minimum standard of education (comprising both group and individual sessions) for people with type 2 diabetes.
