Listening to V.O.I.C.E.S: Practical Insights on Visual Approaches. The ‘Visualising Opportunities: Inclusion for Children, Education and Society’ (@Voices_Ed) Project

Research output: Contribution to conferenceSpeech

Abstract

This presentation will demonstrate how multimodal and visual approaches can be used to investigate perceptions and experiences of inclusive education as a broad concept. During the presentation consideration will be given to how inclusive education is operationalised in various educational settings, and real world examples and materials produced by children will be shared to demonstrate how workshops for exploring challenging topics with children and young people can be developed. This presentation will build on CPD that has been conducted with teachers and there will be opportunities for audience engagement with materials, and for them to consider how resource ‘toolboxes’ might work in their own settings.
