Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To compare the effects (benefits and harms) of internal fixation versus other methods of surgical intervention (percutaneous pinning; external fixation) for distal radius fractures in adults. Our main comparisons will be: internal fixation versus method of surgery that is not internal fixation; i.e. percutaneous pinning or external fixation or a combination of these two methods internal fixation versus percutaneous pinning internal fixation versus external fixation
