Abstract

Methods of assessment are discussed, including the use of digitizing writing tablets to examine detailed aspects of handwriting production and providing insight into the development of this skill. Research into why some individuals experience difficulty with handwriting and methods to support the learning of this skill are also addressed. Handwriting as part of the writing process Handwriting is not just a motor skill.
