Abstract

The article discusses the challenges and limitations facing humanitarian agencies during a four-day humanitarian pause in Israel's assault on the Gaza Strip. It highlights the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, including food and fuel shortages, lack of safe drinking water, and overcrowded shelters. The article also raises concerns about the limited volume of aid allowed into Gaza during the pause and the difficulties in ensuring equitable distribution. Despite the temporary pause, the article suggests that a more permanent ceasefire is needed to address Gaza's extensive humanitarian needs.
