Abstract

"Delivering Fundamental British Values - Time For A New Perspective"
The development of an innovative way of delivering Fundamental British Values (FBV) in early years settings using a persona doll approach blended with new technology. This study emerged from the UK Government's Prevent Strategy (Home Office: 2011) and the need to deliver FBV in educational settings (DfE: 2014). The research was predicated on the theoretical literature of inclusiveness and equality, referencing the issues surrounding FBV within early years and the use of persona dolls, and used multiple case studies within an interventionist framework.
