Abstract

This paper considered a brief history of psychology and its relationship with disability. The paper explored the social model of disability and its links with posthumanism/dishumanism. The paper considered ideas related to a 'posthuman community psychology' and how community psychology and disability/studies can build a relationship that works for and with people with learning disabilities.
