    Abstract

    Convened by Prof. Sofia Pantouvaki, the second biennial conference and exhibition was held at Aalto University. With over 300 delegates and an acceptance rate of 47%, Critical Costume 2015 recognised an international appetite for new thinking and practice on costume. The event included keynotes from Prof. Deborah Nadoolman Landis (UCLA) and Prof. Peter McNeil (University of Technology Sydney). Costume Presentation/ Performance: The Scenographic Costume, Exploring performative Costumes. In collaboration with Scenographer C. Hatton, Bech presented a large-scale scenographic costume. Through performance, Bech explored the dramaturgical DNA of costume.
