Abstract
This plenary discusses the practice-led research film Council House Movie Star and the life narrative or an ageing drag queen in everyday life in non-heterosexual contexts. The work addresses issues of age(ing), poverty, discrimination and issues surrounding isolation, memory and vulnerability against a backdrop of a youth driven culture.
