Abstract

The authors regret having left out of their paper any acknowledgement of the encouragement of Dr Ian Hussey whose own promptly published pre-print response to Ruiz et al. draws on several of the same ideas from the philosophy of science literature. The version initially made available to us has since been taken down, but we are informed that an updated version can be found here: https://psyarxiv.com/83z2y (last accessed on 20th Nov 2020). The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
