Abstract
Not unlike medicine, nursing continues to evolve and change in relation to technology, research, policy and practice. This article endeavours to share some of these changes in nursing and is selective focusing on historic examples of thermometers and telephones in clinical practice to the more current Personal Medical Services (PMS) pilots and nurse prescribing.
