Abstract

At the turn of the year is a piece for solo piano. The title alludes to the fact that much of the original material for the work was sketched between December 1991and January 1992. The current version was revised and recomposed in the summer of 2016, reworking and expanding material from the middle sections. The first performance of the revised version was given by LaurinaSableviciute in November 2016.
