Abstract
The relationship between cross-sectional and longitudinal data was presented to explore the relationship between medical students communication skills in the simulated exam setting (OSCE) and actual clinical placement. All students were videoed and a micro-coding tool explored (VR-CoDES) to examine how medical students responded to emotion across these settings.
