Abstract

Sian arrives home to find the lane to her house is scattered with dead birds, and her daughter obsessing over why they fell from the sky. This story explores the tensions between parental expectations and parental experience drawing on notions of Apophenia and Wittgenstein's philosophies of perception and language.
