Abstract

12◦ North was formed as a result of the North West Higher Education Dance Consortium establishing a regional one-year graduate dance programme. Based at Edge Hill University, the company works with 12 talented North West based graduates. The programme develops skills in performance and creativity as well as industry knowledge and acumen to develop innovative thinkers and entrepreneurs. This opportunity aims to support graduate retention in the region and develops their employability skills. Working in partnership with the North West dance sector, the graduates are involved in devising, touring, teaching, mentoring and creative placements.
