Registering phase one of this project (which will form the basis of a grant application): PPI with members of the friends and family section of SMART recovery (which supports F&F of people in recovery)
Ethics application not needed for the PPI work as we will not be using this for research, rather this will be used for coproduction of our research questions. states. Guidance on this from NIHR: “Ethical approval is not needed where people are involved in planning or advising on research, for example as a co-applicant on a research grant, a member of an advisory group or in developing a questionnaire.”
