Project Details
Description
This project explores alternative provision (AP) in education for pupils aged 11-16 years in non-mainstream English schools. By mapping the nature of this diverse provision, and the different approaches to teaching and learning that many of these settings use, it will highlight the ways in which this sector makes positive contributions to the lives of young people who, for a variety of reasons, are not able to access, or have failed to flourish, in mainstream schooling.
