    My main research interests are in the area of environmental pollution.  I am particularly interested in atmospheric particulate pollution (PM) and more specifically on PM in the airport environment.  My PhD research focused on the characterisation of PM in the airport environment.

    I use a range of techniques to investigate PM in the environment including:

    Environmental Magnetism
    Geochemical Analysis
    Scanning Electron Microscopy
    Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis
    Electron Spin Resonance
