Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Secondary Physical Education at Edge Hill University. Currently lecturing on the ITE Secondary Physical Education PGCE with QTS programme, having started my career teaching in the Secondary sector, specialising in Physical Education. I have 15 years of experience teaching the 11– 18 age range in a range of comprehensive schools, holding middle leadership positions in Lancashire and Merseyside. Having made the move to Higher Education, I have become an early career researcher and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
