Sarah is a Lecturer in Education, Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Faculty of Education. Sarah is also a member of the Centre for Mental Health, Sport and Physical Activity.
Sarah’s research centres on community and place-based work which supports children and young people’s health and wellbeing, exploring community provision and resources in areas such as education, health, leisure, sport and physical activity. Additionally, Sarah is interested in the doing of research to better understand practices and methods that enable both researchers and participants to authentically engage in research.
Current Projects:
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
