Biography
Sarah is Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Sport and Physical Activity at Edge Hill University. Sarah joined Edge Hill University in 2021 to complete her PhD, after finishing her Masters by Research at York St John University.
Research interests
Sarah’s research centres on community and place-based work which supports children and young people’s health and wellbeing, exploring community provision and resources in areas such as education, health, leisure and physical activity. Additionally, Sarah is interested in the doing of research to better understand practices and methods that enable both researchers and participants to authentically engage in research.
Current Projects:
- The People’s Health Project, a health literacy programme for children.
- Independent evaluation of a Framework for Integrated Care (Community) NHS service.
