Sam is a medical doctor in the NHS and a student researcher in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine at Edge Hill University. After studying medicine at the University of Liverpool, Sam has based his career in hospitals in the North West UK. He is now near completion of specialist training with a particular interest in diabetes and endocrinology. Sam plans to broaden his knowledge and is planning a research project to study the impact that blood glucose targets have on the wellbeing of people with diabetes.
