Biography
Ruth is currently a lecturer for the Postgraduate Certificate in SpLD (Dyslexia). This role includes teaching on the courses and helping to develop modules. Ruth was previously an associate tutor on both this course and the National Award for SEN Co-ordination. Ruth started her career as a secondary school teacher. She became a specialist dyslexia and dyscalculia teacher and worked in secondary schools teaching learners with literacy and maths difficulties. Alongside her role at EHU, Ruth provides advice to schools on inclusion of learners with SEND. She also assesses for access arrangements and delivers diagnostic assessments.
