    Dr Rafe McGregor is Reader in Criminology. A critical theorist with research expertise in culture, political violence, and policing, he is the author of fifteen books, including: Recovering Police Legitimacy: A Radical Framework (2024), Literary Theory and Criminology (2023), and Narrative Justice (2018). He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Advance HE.
