    Biography

    Dr Rafe McGregor is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology. He is a critical theorist researching culture, policing, and climate justice. From 2021 to 2026 he is co-investigator of the Croatian Science Foundation Installation Research Project ‘Aesthetic Education through Narrative Art’, headed by Dr Iris Vidmar Jovanović at the University of Rijeka. His teaching interests include the various criminological, sociological, and philosophical questions surrounding both ‘race’ and violence. Rafe is the author of An Epistemology of Criminological Cinema (2024, with Dr David Grčki), Literary Theory and Criminology (2023), Critical Criminology and Literary Criticism (2021), A Criminology of Narrative Fiction (2021), and Narrative Justice (2018) and has published in criminology, philosophy, policing, politics, literature, and education journals.
