    I have had a long career in Nursing and latterly nurse education and I am currently Acting Deputy Head of Nursing and Midwifery Education. My current intersest are curriculum development and quality assurance mechanisms.

    Research interests

    My research interests are varied. My doctoral studies focussed on incivility in higher education and was located within the research discipline of psychology in education. Post doctoral reseach has included parents' perceptions of caring for children with complex health conditions and currently the impact of COVID 19 on students experiences on pre-registrationhealth and social care programmes.

    External engagement

    I am currently and external examiner for the MSCi Dual Field Nursing with Leadership award at leicester University and an external Faculty Board member at Kings College London.
