    Research interests

My research investigates cognitive and affective aspects of reading. I am interested in the development of cognitive skills that support children's reading comprehension, with a focus on inference generation. I am also interested in exploring how reading supports wellbeing, across the lifespan. My recent research has involved collaboration with external partners such as literacy and library charities.
