Theoretical, statistical and formal modelling of systems by considering factors such as human-in-the-loop. Performance and optimisation issues in smart and distributed systems. Application areas include but not limited to smart homes, smart city, smart grids, Internet-of-Things-driven applications, vehicular networks, learning management systems, blockchain-driven solutions and systems of systems.
