My PhD research will examine how cannabis users' expectancies and social environment are related to their experience of subjective effects, including acute adverse reactions. My planned methods include conducting surveys, using smartphone-based ecological momentary assessments (EMA) to understand variation in social context and expectancies, and using Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools to analyse crowdsourced data provided by Leafly (www.leafly.com/strains).
