Biography
I am a PhD student and GTA in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine at Edge Hill University. I hold a M.Sc. in Psychology of Sport & Exercise (Loughborough University, UK) and a M.A. in Applied Psychology (University of Mumbai, India). Before joining EHU, I worked as a Sport and Exercise Psychology Practitioner for 7 years in high performance settings. I am one of the five PGR representatives for the academic year 2023-2024, and I am the co-founder and secretary of the Indian Sport Psychologists’ Association (INSPA).
Research interests
With an interest in mental health and physical activity, my PhD research explores the potential integration of physical activity into psychotherapy provided to children and young people.
Some of my other research interests include: Behaviour change, physical activity adherence, emotional regulation, performance enhancement, and athlete mental health.
