Biography

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from UDLA University (Quito - Ecuador) and a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation from the University of Chester. I have previously worked in clinical roles as a physiotherapist and in academia as a lecturer at PUCESE University (Esmeraldas - Ecuador) in modules of the Physiotherapy and Nursing Departments. Currently, I am studying a PhD in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine, where I also have the role of Graduate teaching assistant supporting the Paramedic Sciences department in the Anatomy and Physiology modules. My research interests are cardiovascular health, cardiac rehabilitation, exercise and physical activity.
