Biography
Keeley is a Registered Children's Nurse and a Lecturer in Nurse Education.
She is a Personal Tutor and an Academic Assessor to a number of students on the BSc (Hons) Nursing Programme.
Keeley is the Online Time Limited Assessment (OTLA) Lead for Year 3 of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Programme.
She is currently undertaking her Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (PGCTHE).
Keeley has a vast clinical background in Paediatric's. Specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Maxillofacial, Surgical and Medical nursing. She has managed and led Outpatient, Day Case and Burns Departments and has worked as a Bed Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Keeley has been involved in Infection Control, Specialist Nursing, Patient Experience and Quality and has experience of Matron Management/Leadership.
She teaches a range of activities such as developing a business case, performance review, strengths based approaches, evaluation of care, management/coordination of safe patient transfer and discharge including risk assessment and management.
Keeley has worked across the North West of England.
Her areas of interest include Leadership and Management.
