    Biography

    I have been a Primary school class teacher for eighteen years specifically teaching the 3 - 7 age range. My positions of responsibility have included geography and mathematics subject lead, a local authority key stage one moderator and a Specialist Leader in Education (SLE). 

    I am now a lecturer in Primary Initial Teacher Training, specifically 3 - 7 years. I have begun a Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of Higher Education.

    Teaching

    My current teaching role involves working with on the BA (hons) Early Years with QTS undergraduates and the Post Graduate Early Years with QTS courses across all curriculum subject areas. 

    Research interests

    My current research interests include early years mathematical pedagogy and primary science.
