    Dr Kamila Tomczak's research interests lie the fields of International Economics, Macroeconomics, and Financial Economics, with a specific focus on the development of financial crises and the channels of crisis transmission. Two major publications by Dr Kamila Tomczak have significantly contributed to the field. An article published in 2022, titled 'Transmission of the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis in Advanced Countries of the EU' appeared in the Bulletin of Economic Research. Another publication, 'The Impact of the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis on the Banking Systems in Advanced European Countries' was featured in Applied Economics Quarterly.
