I am currently in full-time employment as a Senior Lecturer within a BSc Paramedic Practice program with a higher education institution in the United Kingdom.
Over the years several qualifications had been awarded to me as an educator, firefighter and emergency care practitioner (in the Paramedicine discipline). Of this notable has been a Master’s Degree Emergency Medical Care (MEMC), Higher Diploma in Higher Education and Training (HDHET), as well as various other undergraduate qualifications and certification.
I have more than 25 (twenty- five) years of cumulative experience of working in the higher education and emergency services (fire & medical) environment. The last 16 (sixteen) years has been within the higher education sector and in order to maintain clinical competencies adhoc (part-time) work had included that of the aeromedical, prehospital and emergency department.
Valuable exposure and experience had been obtained during my career in the areas of management (program co-ordination), participating in research activities, serving on various committees in various capacities, incident management as an emergency care practitioner and industry engagement projects.
