Biography
Joe is a highly respected higher education professional with global educational and commercial links. After entering Higher Education from a career in banking supervising a trading section at National Savings for the Bank of England, Joe quickly established himself as a Management and then Educational Lecturer. A year after entering Higher Education Joe co-founded the British Education Studies Association (BESA) to promote the academic study of education and currently is on their Executive and Managing Editor of their two peer reviewed journals, Educational Futures, and Transformations. Whilst in Higher Education Joe has undertaken a number of Academic, Managerial, Commercial and Consultancy Projects including developing the M.A.T.S system which brought one of his previous University's it's first intellectual propertyright licence, worked as Reed Global's External Consultant and worked as Academic Partnership Manager with a number of academic HE institutions to advise on management, structure, quality and inspections. Joe has also been a Director at a number of his own businesses and has extensive experience of international teaching.
His is a published researcher and his research interest span Business and Education and his current research inclueds Supply Chain Management, Teaching with PCK, Research Methods, Ethics and CSR.
Joe is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and has a number of recent award including Emeral Literati Reviewer of the Year.
